Science and Innovation at Omega Alpha

At Omega Alpha Pharmaceuticals we source and use raw ingredients that scientific research has shown to be effective and safe. We utilise a team of medical and naturopathic doctors, certified nutritionists, vets and research scientists at our 40, 000 square foot facility in Toronto. This state-of-the-art facility also houses cutting edge testing rooms, quality assurance, formulation clean rooms as well as our sales and administration departments.

We source our ingredients from quality providers around the world whether that be from Asia, Europe, Canada or the USA and all herbs arrive with us in their whole natural form. This enables us to visually verify each one. Further testing in the form of High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) is then used to fingerprint each herb to ensure that it is free from heavy metals, pesticides, contaminants or other toxins.

Having initially started manufacturing products for the human market our facilities, testing standards, raw materials and licensing are all set and measured by Human Grade. Our facilities and regulations remain the same for each of our manufactured lines. Our manufacturing site as well as our products have to be licensed by Canadian Natural Health Regulations and adhere to strict Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) to ensure proper safety and efficacy of in all stages of manufacture.
